Hi all

I would like to announce that we have been working on integrating discord into our site and discord server.

Firstly, we have now added Jessica, our well known site and server adminbot to our discord server.

Jessica will post into the #forumbot when a new post is made on the forums in public viewing areas only. E.g. areas that can be seen by website guests.

Secondly, you will notice the discord icon at the bottom of each website page (bottom right). Simply click it and our discord server will load. You can communicate directly with our server as a guest from here, or simply read the public channels. You will also see notifications of new messages as you are browsing the site.

Our aim is to improve traffic to site, community and integrate our communication better.

We hope you find this useful, and do feel free to join our Discord server using the link on our homepage or clicking the new icon on each page, then clicking the "Join" option.

If you have any feedback, let us know.

PS - Jessica will not ban, kick or mute you like in our game servers :p

Matt

Is it possible to mute Jessica? (I don't want to m,ute the whole channel and blocking doesn't help)

We are looking into how best to balance notifications and muting at the moment.

We clearly dont to make users frustrated, but we do want to link both discord and forum better

We are working on it now :)

Done, let me know if this helps.

The new channel #forumbot has been created to allow just Jessica posts and reactions. You should be able to mute this channel only but it has notifications by default.

Let me know.
