I understand why it would be done on tss though. If you have limited officers e.g. 2, cuffing as you go is the safest bet because they get up again. This sometimes has to happen in very large rooms when it's not possible to cover all suspects with limited officers.

Indeed. Also, as there was a discussion about taking more seriously things like blocking the door by standing in front of it etc... In reality of SWAT I think they would also arrest suspects earlier than clearing all the room, especially when it is a big one or a long corridor... I might be wrong as I'm not in this business in real life, so if anyone has more detailed info about it - I'll pass... But in my opinion if you want to play this game more real - like w/o blocking door by standing in front of it for example... - you shouldn't consider if it's vanilla or tss and arrest suspects after they comply - to make it harder for them to get up, take out an extra gun and kill you when you go further... Am I wrong? :P
